Dr. Haider continues lifelong learning in order to best serve her patients. She is in the midst of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy training as well as psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy training. She has also completed functional medicine training at the Institute of Functional Medicine. She is certified in Acupuncture for Physicians (Harvard) and is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Professionals (UMass) and taught at the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. After completing adult psychiatry residency at UCLA, she pursued an adult neurology residency at Cedars Sinai.

She encourages whole-person care and so strives to ensure that every patient pursues an appropriate diagnostic work up during the initial evaluation process. This might entail labs or studies, primary care screening, neuropsychological testing or even referrals to a neurologic subspecialist. The right treatment plan requires the right diagnosis. Once in treatment, utilizing several psychotherapeutic modalities as well as any one of many integrative techniques, the plan is personalized. Lifestyle strategies are also discussed. If further treatment is needed, Dr. Haider is skilled in many therapeutic modalities including medication management & non-pharmacologic options.
